Loading Dock Access

Pavilion loading dock 3, 4 & 5 will be in use.

Exhibitors and Contractors

Access to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) for exhibitors and contractors during build-up and dismantling is via the loading dock at the rear of the exhibition halls. Access to the loading dock is from Mounts Bay Road at the Spring Street intersection. The access ramp and driveway for the loading docks is a one-way directional system and traffic must exit from the eastern exit. The speed Limit is 10kph on the dock.

Please note the following:

  • Parking is not permitted on the loading dock, vehicles have a 20 minute unloading time and will then be asked to exit the loading dock.
  • Event equipment should not be moved in or out via front of house or public areas. This includes the plaza at the front entrance to the pavilions.
  • Exhibitors are encouraged to use the downstairs car park during the move-in and move-out period for all hand carried items to avoid lengthy delays on the loading dock. There are service lifts from the car park.
  • No access will be permitted via the loading dock doors during the operational hours of an event.
  • Occupational Health & Safety regulations strictly prohibit children under 15 years of age from being on-site during the build-up and move-out periods.
  • Exhibitors can access the exhibition via the front doors of the Pavilions only during Operational hours. Exhibitors may enter up to two hours prior to the official opening time to visitors. Deliveries can be made 2 hours before the show opens each day through the rear Loading Dock door, which are also open 1 hour after the show closes.
  • Delivery & Collection of oversized or heavy equipment must be arranged two weeks prior to move in with Gel Events
